Application for services

Application for services

In order for the RIX PRM Group to be able to provide PRM services in a timely manner, the application for the passenger’s PRM service must be made to your airline AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT. The most convenient time to do this is when you book your flight tickets – at the airline’s representative office, on its homepage or at a travel agency.

The airline will notify the airport about the need for the PRM service by sending PAL/CAL/PSM information with the SITA system with data about the passenger and the service he or she requires.

The most convenient time to do this is when you buy your flight tickets – at the airline’s representative office, on its homepage or at a travel agency.

The RIX PRM SITA address is RIXPR7X.

What should you do if a ticket is booked less than 48 hours before a flight?

If a ticket has been bought less than two days before a flight, the application for the PRM service must be made at the airport at the Information Bureau, which is located in the Registration Hall at the registration tables or special call-out points, which are located in P1 (on the 1st floor and by the P3 car park). The PRM passenger must arrive at the airport at least two hours before the departure of his or her flight.

You can also apply for services at Riga International Airport electronically by sending an application to the following e-mail address: IPAsupervisor@riga-airport.com

If the application for the service has been made at the last moment, the airport cannot guarantee the same quality of service that would be available if the application is made in good time. The potential waiting time to receive the service could also be longer (up to 45 minutes).
