GROUND HANDLING – RIX GH

Workday of every RIX GH employee is based on four priorities – care for our customers’ safety and time, providing outstanding service, and protecting the surrounding environment. RIX GH offers a full range of ground handling services for passenger, cargo and military aircraft of any size:

  • professional passenger, baggage and cargo/mail handling services;
  • administrative services;
  • preparation of weight & balance documents;
  • coordination and supervision of aircraft turnaround;
  • provision of any additional services to aircraft, flight crews and passengers.

RIX GH is an ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 50001 certified ground handling service provider.

SAFETY

RIX GH provides its services fully in accordance with the RIX safety management system (SMS) as well as all IATA requirements pertaining to ground handling. RIX GH ensures a strict system for investigating, analysing and notifying violations of safety and security rules, as well as promotes ‘just culture’ policy among its employees. Our safety management system is audited both by regulatory institutions (CAA etc.) as well as airline customers on regular basis.

TIME

Punctuality has always been among the top priorities of our key performance indicators. We seriously investigate all delay cases – if we are responsible for this, we will immediately improve or change the ground handling system procedure, adapting it individually to each of our customers. In aviation, time is money and working with us you can count on punctual departures.

Our employees will do everything necessary to meet your needs at the agreed time in accordance with your requirements, last but not the least – with a smile from our staff!

Over 300 highly qualified employees work at RIX GH, who regularly participate in trainings to improve their professional abilities. In 2000, RIX established its own training centre with the goal of facilitating the professional development of employees in a real work environment with the focus on providing very high safety and quality services. Personnel training is conducted by professional instructors, who have attained the relevant certificates from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and other internationally important educational institutions (ECAC, ACI).

THE ENVIRONMENT

We sort waste. We try to do without paper documents and as far as possible circulate and store information electronically. Unless outdoor temperature is not extremely low, we use environmentally friendly electric tugs for baggage and cargo transportation. As technology develops, we plan to replace our ramp GSE running on diesel engines with electric GSE. We realise that natural resources are not inexhaustible and any promise made for the benefit of the environment is an investment in our joint future.

RIX GH has introduced a quality assurance system and environment management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 standards. Since September 2018, we are also certified in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 50001:2011 energy management standard.
